FAQ'S

I've never had a lymphatic drainage treatment before. How do I prepare and what should I expect to feel like?

Before your appointment it is recommended to drink extra water, avoid heavy meals, and wear comfortable clothes to relax in for the rest of the day. This session may feel similar to massage but we are solely working on your lymphatic flow rather than working on muscles or "knots". After your session you should feel lighter, less bloated, and super relaxed! You might need to urinate more, feel more tired, or even have more ear wax which is all very normal and means your body is getting rid of extra fluid.

What do I do after my lymphatic session and how can I make my results last longer?

After your lymphatic session, keep things gentle so your body can continue flushing effectively. Wear loose clothing, avoid tight or constricting pieces, and skip heavy workouts, saunas, caffeine, and alcohol for the rest of the day. Focus on hydration with plenty of water or herbal tea, and enjoy a nourishing whole-foods meal with protein and cooked vegetables to minimize inflammation. Light movement like walking, stretching, or deep breathing can help lymph flow without overstimulating the system. To help results last longer, stay consistently hydrated, move your body daily, prioritize sleep.

How soon after plastic surgery can I start sessions?

Most surgeons recommend starting within 1-7 days post-op, depending on the procedure. Early intervention with lymphatic drainage helps speed up healing, reduces swelling, and minimizes the chance of fibrosis. If you're unsure it's always best to contact your surgeon for  guidance.

Is lymphatic drainage painful?

No lymphatic drainage should never be painful. It is gentle, light, and relaxing. Some sessions that are sculpting focused may include a more firm technique that can result in tenderness, but it should never cause significant pain.

What can it help with?

People commonly seek lymphatic drainage for bloating or gut issues, autoimmune disorders, frequent illness, migraines, chronic swelling or puffiness, cortisol imbalance, skin issues, allergies/sinuses, PCOS, hormone health, and post-surgical swelling needs.

How do I know if lymphatic drainage is safe for me?

Whiles it's safe for most people, it's not for everyone. Certain medical conditions may require clearance from your doctor before booking, such as acute infections, uncontrolled heart or kidney issues, cancer under active treatment, blood clots, skin infections, or fever.

What are my options for payment? Are any sessions covered by insurance?

While our facility does not deal directly with insurance as payment, you are able to use HSA/FSA. We also accept cash or any major credit card. Gift certificates are non-refundable, not valid on retail, and expire one year after purchase. If you choose to pay with cash, please try to bring exact change.

Do you accept walk-ins or how can I book?

We do not accept walk-ins - all appointments, including faja fittings, must be booked in advance online. After creating your client account on Vagaro, you then will have access to rescheduling, booking, cancellation, etc. A credit card is required to reserve your appointment, but you will not be charged until the day of your session.

Is there a cancellation policy?

Yes. In the event you need to either cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide 48-hours advance notice, or you will be charged an automatic no-show fee of 50% of the scheduled service cost to the credit card on file. If you arrive more than 20 minutes late may have their session forfeited and will require 50% of the service fee. If you are ill, please cancel your appointment as soon as possible to allow others to book in your place and to avoid any associated cancellation fees.
